• Figures are transcribed by machine from the XBRL of annual securities reports published on EDINET, the Financial Services Agency's disclosure system. Nobody re-keys them.
• Calculated values such as ratios carry their formula and the values used as inputs.
• Values that cannot be traced are not published. Where an item is not disclosed, the page says “not disclosed”. Nothing is filled in by guesswork.
• Differences of accounting standard (Japanese GAAP, IFRS) and between consolidated and parent-only figures are shown each time.
• Charts are built from disclosed figures alone. Nothing is rounded for looks, and nothing outside the data is drawn in.
• No company logos are used.
